The U.S. and Its Allies Had Contact with Bin Laden and the 9/11 Hijackers Many Times Before 9/11

The report that the FBI had a human resource in direct contact with Bin Laden in 1993 – and covered it up and hid it from the 9/11 Commission and Congress – is newsworthy. See this Washington Times report and NBC News coverage.

But that’s just the tip of the iceberg:
Top American officials admit that the U.S. armed and supported Bin Laden and the other Mujahadin – which later morphed into Al Qaeda – in the 1970s, in order to fight the Soviets
The mainstream French paper Le Figaro alleged that the CIA met with Bin Laden himself 2 months before 9/11
According to the Congressional Joint Inquiry into 9/11, an FBI informant hosted and rented a room to two hijackers in 2000. And see this Newsweek article and this New York Times report
According to the large French newspaper Le Monde, the intelligence services of America’s close ally France and of other governments had infiltrated the highest levels of Al-Qaeda’s camps, and actually listened to the hijackers’ debates about which airlines’ planes should be hijacked, and allied intelligence services also intercepted phone conversations between Al-Qaeda members regarding the attacks
According to reports from Bloomberg, an ABC News investigative reporter and others, one of the main trainers of Bin Laden and Al Qaeda worked at various times for the CIA, FBI and Green Berets
A high-level military intelligence officer says that his unit – tasked with tracking Bin Laden prior to 9/11 – was pulled off the task, and their warnings that the World Trade Center and Pentagon were being targeted were ignored
Several key employees for the defense department say that the government covered up their testimony about tracking Mohammed Atta before 9/11
The National Security Agency and the FBI were each independently listening in on the phone calls between the supposed mastermind of the attacks and the lead hijacker. Indeed, the FBI built its own antenna in Madagascar specifically to listen in on the mastermind’s phone calls
According to various sources, on the day before 9/11, the mastermind told the lead hijacker “tomorrow is zero hour” and gave final approval for the attacks. The NSA intercepted the message that day and the FBI was likely also monitoring the mastermind’s phone calls
Shortly before 9/11, the NSA also intercepted multiple phone calls to the United States from Bin Laden’s chief of operations
The CIA and the NSA had been intercepting phone calls by the hijackers for years (see also this)
According to the Sunday Herald, two days before 9/11, Bin Laden called his stepmother and told her “In two days, you’re going to hear big news and you’re not going to hear from me for a while.” U.S. officials later told CNN that “in recent years they’ve been able to monitor some of bin Laden’s telephone communications with his [step]mother. Bin Laden at the time was using a satellite telephone, and the signals were intercepted and sometimes recorded.” Indeed, before 9/11, to impress important visitors, NSA analysts would occasionally play audio tapes of bin Laden talking to his stepmother.
And according to CBS News, at 9:53 a.m on 9/11, just 15 minutes after the hijacked plane had hit the Pentagon, “the National Security Agency, which monitors communications worldwide, intercepted a phone call from one of Osama bin Laden’s operatives in Afghanistan to a phone number in the former Soviet Republic of Georgia”, and secretary of Defense Rumsfeld learned about the intercepted phone call in real-time (if the NSA monitored and transcribed phone calls in real-time on 9/11, that implies that it did so in the months leading up to 9/11 as well)

Indeed, former counter-terrorism boss Richard Clarke theorizes that top CIA brass tried to recruit the hijackers and turn them to our side, but were unsuccessful. And – when they realized had failed – they covered up their tracks so that the FBI would not investigate their illegal CIA activities , “malfeasance and misfeasance”, on U.S. soil.

And former FBI translator Sibel Edmonds – deemed credible by the Department of Justice’s Inspector General, several senators (free subscription required), and a coalition of prominent conservative and liberal groups – alleges that the U.S. worked with Bin Laden right up to 9/11 … and for months afterwards.

Whether or not she’s right, it’s indisputable that 9/11 was entirely foreseeable … as was Al Qaeda flying airplanes into the World Trade Center and Pentagon.

As is the fact that the U.S. has backed the world’s most dangerous and radical Muslim terrorists for decades.

Second Thesselonians Chapter Two

1 ¶ Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,
2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
3 ¶ Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
13 ¶ But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.
16 ¶ Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace,
17 Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.

This is no recovery, this is a bubble – and it will burst

According to the stock market, the UK economy is in a boom. Not just any old boom, but a historic one. On 28 October 2013, the FTSE 100 index hit 6,734, breaching the level achieved at the height of the economic boom before the 2008 global financial crisis (that was 6,730, recorded in October 2007).

Since then, it has had ups and downs, but on 21 February 2014 the FTSE 100 climbed to a new height of 6,838. At this rate, it may soon surpass the highest ever level reached since the index began in 1984 – that was 6,930, recorded in December 1999, during the heady days of the dotcom bubble.

The current levels of share prices are extraordinary considering the UK economy has not yet recovered the ground lost since the 2008 crash; per capita income in the UK today is still lower than it was in 2007. And let us not forget that share prices back in 2007 were themselves definitely in bubble territory of the first order.

The situation is even more worrying in the US. In March 2013, the Standard & Poor 500 stock market index reached the highest ever level, surpassing the 2007 peak (which was higher than the peak during the dotcom boom), despite the fact that the country’s per capita income had not yet recovered to its 2007 level. Since then, the index has risen about 20%, although the US per capita income has not increased even by 2% during the same period. This is definitely the biggest stock market bubble in modern history.

Even more extraordinary than the inflated prices is that, unlike in the two previous share price booms, no one is offering a plausible narrative explaining why the evidently unsustainable levels of share prices are actually justified.

During the dotcom bubble, the predominant view was that the new information technology was about to completely revolutionise our economies for good. Given this, it was argued, stock markets would keep rising (possibly forever) and reach unprecedented levels. The title of the book, Dow 36,000: The New Strategy for Profiting from the Coming Rise in the Stock Market, published in the autumn of 1999 when the Dow Jones index was not even 10,000, very well sums up the spirit of the time.

Similarly, in the runup to the 2008 crisis, inflated asset prices were justified in terms of the supposed progresses in financial innovation and in the techniques of economic policy.

It was argued that financial innovation – manifested in the alphabet soup of derivatives and structured financial assets, such as MBS, CDO, and CDS – had vastly improved the ability of financial markets to “price” risk correctly, eliminating the possibility of irrational bubbles. On this belief, at the height of the US housing market bubble in 2005, both Alan Greenspan (the then chairman of the Federal Reserve Board) and Ben Bernanke (the then chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers to the President and later Greenspan’s successor) publicly denied the existence of a housing market bubble – perhaps except for some “froth” in a few localities, according to Greenspan.

At the same time, better economic theory – and thus better techniques of economic policy – was argued to have allowed policymakers to iron out those few wrinkles that markets themselves cannot eliminate. Robert Lucas, the leading free-market economist and winner of the 1995 Nobel prize in economics, proudly declared in 2003 that “the problem of depression prevention has been solved”. In 2004, Ben Bernanke (yes, it’s him again) argued that, probably thanks to better theory of monetary policy, the world had entered the era of “great moderation”, in which the volatility of prices and outputs is minimised.

This time around, no one is offering a new narrative justifying the new bubbles because, well, there isn’t any plausible story. Those stories that are generated to encourage the share price to climb to the next level have been decidedly unambitious in scale and ephemeral in nature: higher-than-expected growth rates or number of new jobs created; brighter-than-expected outlook in Japan, China, or wherever; the arrival of the “super-dove” Janet Yellen as the new chair of the Fed; or, indeed, anything else that may suggest the world is not going to end tomorrow.

Few stock market investors really believe in these stories. Most investors know that current levels of share prices are unsustainable; it is said that George Soros has already started betting against the US stock market. They are aware that share prices are high mainly because of the huge amount of money sloshing around thanks to quantitative easing (QE), not because of the strength of the underlying real economy. This is why they react so nervously to any slight sign that QE may be wound down on a significant scale.

However, stock market investors pretend to believe – or even have to pretend to believe – in those feeble and ephemeral stories because they need those stories to justify (to themselves and their clients) staying in the stock market, given the low returns everywhere else.

The result, unfortunately, is that stock market bubbles of historic proportion are developing in the US and the UK, the two most important stock markets in the world, threatening to create yet another financial crash. One obvious way of dealing with these bubbles is to take the excessive liquidity that is inflating them out of the system through a combination of tighter monetary policy and better financial regulation against stock market speculation (such as a ban on shorting or restrictions on high-frequency trading). Of course, the danger here is that these policies may prick the bubble and create a mess.

In the longer run, however, the best way to deal with these bubbles is to revive the real economy; after all, “bubble” is a relative concept and even a very high price can be justified if it is based on a strong economy. This will require a more sustainable increase in consumption based on rising wages rather than debts, greater productive investments that will expand the economy’s ability to produce, and the introduction of financial regulation that will make banks lend more to productive enterprises than to consumers. Unfortunately, these are exactly the things that the current policymakers in the US and the UK don’t want to do.

We are heading for trouble.

Indonesia interfaith delegation starts week of advocacy

An interfaith delegation from Indonesia, co-hosted by Christian Solidarity Worldwide (CSW) and the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community UK, has begun a week of advocacy in the UK to coincide with this week’s launch of CSW’s new report in Indonesia.

The delegation will testify at a hearing to launch the report, Indonesia: Pluralism in Peril – The rise of religious intolerance across the archipelago, on 25 February at the House of Commons.

The delegation includes The Reverend Favor Bancin from the Communion of Churches in Indonesia; Dr Ahmad Suaedy, Executive Director of the Abdurrahman Wahid Centre for Inter-Faith Dialogue at the University of Indonesia; Father Benny Susetyo from the Catholic Bishops Conference; Ms Muliathy Briany, a Christian teacher who previously worked for Scripture Union Indonesia; Mahmud Mubarik Ahmad, Secretary of Isyaat, a publication produced by the Ahmadiyya Muslim community in Indonesia; and Ahmad Hidayat, General Secretary of the Central Council of Ahlulbait Indonesia, representing the Shi’a Muslim community.

On 21 February, the delegation met His Holiness Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, the Fifth Caliph (Khalifa) and current head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim community worldwide, and addressed a gathering of Ahmadi Muslims at the Baitul Futuh Mosque in Morden, the largest mosque in Western Europe.

This week, the delegation will also meet the Senior Minister of State at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and Minister for Faith and Communities, Baroness Warsi, as well as opposition Labour Party foreign affairs spokesman John Spellar MP, the Shadow International Development Minister Gavin Shuker MP, Parliamentarians Lord Alton and Baroness Cox, as well as Bishop Declan Lang, Chair of the Department of International Affairs of the Catholic Bishops Conference of England and Wales, senior advisors to the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Muslim counter-extremism think-tank Quilliam Foundation and the Tony Blair Faith Foundation. The delegation will give presentations at the London School of Economics and Oxford University, before travelling to Brussels to launch the report in the European Parliament on 4 March.

CSW’s new report contains in-depth analysis of the Government of Indonesia’s policies and actions which, it concludes, have fuelled religious intolerance which “is no longer confined to areas such as West Java and Aceh, known to be particularly conservative, nor is it confined to Christians and Ahmadis. Shi’a Muslims, Sufi Muslims, Confucians, Buddhists, Hindus, Baha’is, Jews, traditional indigenous believers and atheists are all under attack.”

The report has been endorsed by academic experts and policy makers in the US and the UK. Baroness Berridge, Chairman of the All Party Parliamentary Group on International Freedom of Religion or Belief, said: “As CSW’s new report demonstrates, religious intolerance in Indonesia is rising to very serious levels, posing a threat to Indonesia’s previous tradition of religious pluralism. The report is detailed, comprehensive, and compelling, and serves as a vital wake-up call for the Government of Indonesia and the international community. By hosting this hearing, we hope we will help highlight the threats to freedom of religion or belief in Indonesia, and urge the British Government and the international community to press the Government of Indonesia to take necessary action to promote and protect religious freedom. Later this year, Indonesia will hold parliamentary and presidential elections, and so we particularly hope that the presidential candidates, and the new President once elected, will set out what they will do to tackle extremism and intolerance. As a friend of Indonesia, we have a responsibility to highlight these grave concerns.”

US Congressman Frank Wolf (R-Virginia), co-chair of the Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission, said: “I have long admired CSW’s work in championing the cause of religious freedom throughout the globe. Their newly published report upholds this tradition, bringing deserved attention and insightful analysis to the very pertinent topic of endangered religious pluralism in Indonesia.”

Congressman Chris Smith (R-New Jersey), a senior member of the House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee and chairman of its Africa, Global Health, Global Human Rights and International Organisation Subcommittee, said: “Religious freedom is a precious commodity which, once lost, is hard to regain. Christian Solidarity Worldwide’s report on Indonesia – a country which at its founding had safeguarded respect for religious pluralism – is alarming, as we see Indonesia slipping towards intolerance and violence. I echo the hope that this report will serve as a wake-up call to Indonesia’s leaders – in particular President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono – to take affirmative steps to protect Indonesia’s religious minorities and their most basic of human rights.”

Indian fundamentalist leader calls for an “immediate” stop to conversions

by Nirmala Carvalho
A leader of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), an extremist Hindu organisation responsible for attacks against the country’s ethnic, religious and social minorities, made the anti-conversion statement recently. The “VHP wants to intimidate and persecute Christians by raising the bogeyman of conversions to instil Hindutva ideas in in the population,” Christian leader said.

Mumbai (AsiaNews) – “We must immediately stop conversions, or soon Hindus will be a minority in India,” said Ashok Singhal, leader of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), a fundamentalist group that has a history of attacking the country’s ethnic, religious and social minorities.

His remarks, which he made at a rally on Saturday in Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) before a crowd of faithful, have drawn criticism from government officials and representatives of other religions, who described them as “inappropriate.”

Sajan George, president of the Global Council of Indian Christians (GCIC), told AsiaNews that we must “condemn in no uncertain terms the fascism of groups like the VHP, which endanger Indian democracy and secularism”.

“Christians in India just want to enjoy their constitutional guarantees,” the Protestant leader said, “in particular Article 25 of the Charter, which enshrines freedom of worship, practice and dissemination of their faith.”

Ultimately, “Religious freedom is a basic human right,” he added, “and the VHP wants to intimidate and persecute Christians by raising the bogeyman of conversions to instil Hindutva ideas in the population.”

The VHP is inspired by Hindutva, a nationalist ideology centred on Hinduism whose aim is the establishment of a Hindu nation.

So-called anti-conversion laws have been adopted in some states ruled by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which embodies the ideas of groups like the VHP.

In theory, these measures should prohibit any conversions by force or through money. In practice, they are often used to persecute minorities. In fact, if a Christian, a Buddhist or a Muslim converts to Hinduism there is nothing to stop them.

In addition to blocking conversions, Singhal wants Hindu families to have at least “five children” to prevent Christians and Muslims from outnumbering Hindus.

Islamist Militia Group in Libya Suspected in Killing of Seven Coptic Christians

CAIRO, Egypt (Morning Star News) – An Islamist militia behind prior attacks in Libya is thought to be responsible for the execution-style shootings of seven Egyptian Christians found yesterday east of Benghazi.

The militia, Ansar al-Sharia, has offered a reward to Benghazi residents who help them round up the rest of the Libyan capital’s Christians, according to rights groups.

Security officials on Monday (Feb. 24), found the bodies of seven Coptic Christians east of Benghazi. The seven men had been shot in the head “execution style,” according to local security officials. Neighbors said that gunmen had come to the men’s apartment building in Garoutha, a suburb in Benghazi, the night before (Feb. 23) and asked who was Christian, according to Egyptian human rights groups.

The gunmen then abducted them at gunpoint, forced the Coptic Christians into a car and drove off, according to rights groups. The men were not seen alive again.

According to Nations Without Borders, an Egyptian human rights and development group, the militia members also spray-painted a message on the Christians’ apartment building and other buildings in the area, promising 10,000 Libyan Dinars (US$7,880) for anyone who turns a Christian over to the militants.

Found slain were Talaat Seddiq Bebawi, Hani Girgis Habib, Nadhi Girgis Habib, Fawzi Fathi Seddiq, Edward Nashed Boulos, Ayoub Sabry Tawfiq and Sameh Romany, according to a press statement by the Coptic Orthodox Church. All were from El-Maragha in Sohag Province.

An Egyptian Christian who suffered persecution in Libya before he left the country said the Copts were clearly killed over their faith.

“It obvious that the attack was because of their faith, because they only picked the Christians there,” he said. “There are other Egyptian Muslims in the same building, but they only went after the Christians.”

The Christian, who asked not to be identified for security reasons, said persecution against Christians especially in eastern Libya got much worse after Islamic militant groups came to power after the fall of dictator Col. Muammar Gaddafi. Now militants are scattered throughout the area and actively harass Christians. He said militants offering money for people to hurt Christians didn’t surprise him.

This week’s incident is the latest in a string of attacks against Christians in eastern Libya. There have been several attacks against Egyptian Christians since 2012, including several on church buildings and priests. In February 2013 the persecution spiked after militiamen arrested seven expatriate Christians, including four Egyptians. At least two of the Egyptian Christians were tortured, including one who died while in custody.

On Sept. 25, 2013, on a rural road in Derna District in northeastern Libya, Muslims robbed two Egyptian Christians living in Libya, then tied up and shot them to death after the two Copts refused their demand to convert to Islam, relatives said. After the Muslims surrounded Waleed Saad Shaker, 25, and Nash’at Shenouda Ishaq, 27, and robbed and beat them, they demanded that Shaker and Ishaq recite the shahada, the declaration of conversion to Islam. When the two Orthodox Coptic Christians refused, the Muslims tied them up and shot them, relatives said.

Later the same month, militia members rounded up roughly 50 Coptic Orthodox Christians, accused them of preaching to Muslims and detained them in a camp for about a week. The captors shaved the heads of many of those they detained and forced some into hard labor. On Feb. 28, 2013, a priest and his assistant in a Coptic Orthodox church in Benghazi were attacked. Both suffered minor injuries.

The violent attacks in Benghazi haven’t been limited to Egyptian Christians. In December, Islamist gunmen killed Ronnie Smith, an expatriate Christian chemistry teacher at a private international school. Originally, it was thought that the militants targeted Smith because he was an American, but according to several religious freedom advocates who agreed to speak to Morning Star News about the case without attribution, most now think Smith was shot because militants viewed him as a self-supporting missionary.

Comments by Egyptian officials about violence in Libya have only served to incense Copts about the attacks and the Egyptian government’s seeming lack of ability or desire to stop attacks against Christians. Egyptian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Badr Abdel Ati claimed that the killings in Libya were not over religious but rather financial issues. He also said those killed were in Libya as undocumented immigrants.

The statement brought widespread condemnation from human rights activists in Egypt and was reminiscent of the reaction to a statement by the Egyptian government after the death of one of the Christians who was abducted in February 2013 and accused of “proselytizing.” Ezzat Hakim Atallah, 45, died March 10, 2013 in a Tripoli jail while in the custody of an Islamist militia called the Preventative Security Unit.

He had been tortured repeatedly, including electroshock sessions, those close to him said. The torture and stress dramatically worsened a heart condition that he suffered from, leading to his death. The Egyptian government said he died of “natural causes.”

Mina Thabet of the Maspero Youth Union said the Egyptian government seems indifferent toward anti-Christian violence at best.

“In the midst of all this, the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stands disabled and completely weak,” he said. “It cannot take clear action about the targeting of its people inside or outside the country.”

Libya was ranked No. 13 on Christian support organization Open Doors’ World Watch List last year, up from No. 17 the previous year.

The source who suffered persecution in Libya said that if someone in the country is a Christian, “They should expect persecution.”

“What has happened now is what was talked about in John 16, where it says, ‘The time is coming when anyone who kills you will think they are offering a service to God. They will do such things because they have not known the Father or me.’”

The New Testament Gospel Without Paul

There is a movement today (mainly coming from the sacred name camp and law keepers) telling us that God did not choose Paul, and that his gospel is false. The reason they have arrived at this conclusion is because they are mostly law keepers who do not understand the covenants, nor understand the differences in the Mosaic and the new covenant based on the grace of God and the work of Yeshua (Jesus) on the cross.

There have always been attacks on the Bible and its acceptance. In the early church about A.D. 140, a man named Marcion instituted the first real controversy. He rejected the majority of the New Testament He believed God rejected Paul and accepted Peter. He threw out Matthew, Mark, and John and made a canon of his own consisting of Luke which he rewrote. There are others today who want to rewrite the Bible, add other books (Gnostic books) or reject some that we already have. There are at least 86,000 quotations from the early church records that believed Paul’s writings were part of Scripture. These are found in several thousand Lectionaries that are church-service books. After nearly 1900 years of the canon being established these rebels are causing a lot of confusion.

Does the Bible support the position that we are to keep the Old Testament law (which often includes the Feast days of Lev.23) and not concentrate on the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ as the gospel of grace to both Jew and Gentile. Is Paul not called of God and what He preached not the same as the others apostles? What does the Bible say on this? We must first go to Paul’s own epistles to see what He says and then coincide this with the book of Acts and the apostolic writers.

Galatians 1:1 “Paul, an apostle (not from men nor through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father who raised Him from the dead)”

Romans 1:1 “Paul, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated to the gospel of God

2 Timothy 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God” This is repeated over and over in his epistles (1 Cor.1:1; 2 Cor.2:1; Eph. 1:1; Col.1:1; 2 Tim1:1.) If this is not true then the Scripture is not inspired by God and cannot be trusted anywhere as accurate.

Paul writes about after his conversion, Gal. 1:18-23 “Then after three years I went up to Jerusalem to see Peter, and remained with him fifteen days. But I saw none of the other apostles except James, the Lord’s brother. (Now concerning the things which I write to you, indeed, before God, I do not lie.) Afterward I went into the regions of Syria and Cilicia. And I was unknown by face to the churches of Judea which were in Christ. But they were hearing only, “He who formerly persecuted us now preaches the faith which he once tried to destroy.”

There is no way to explain Paul’s conversion for if he feigned it, to take advantage of the church he put himself through the worst position that any of the apostles experienced; being jail, beaten several times, stoned and mocked. Saul was fine as Pharisee, why would anyone undergo this kind of persecution unless they had a true conversion? “ in labors more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequently, in deaths often. From the Jews five times I received forty stripes minus one. Three times I was beaten with rods; once I was stoned; three times I was shipwrecked; a night and a day I have been in the deep; in journeys often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils of my own countrymen, in perils of the Gentiles, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren; in weariness and toil, in sleeplessness often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness– besides the other things…” (2 Cor. 11:23-280.

We find that the claims of this new anti-Paul cult are completely bogus. What Paul preached was not only the same as the other apostles, but was sanctioned by them because he was with them.

Gal. 2:1-2: “Then after fourteen years I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and also took Titus with me. And I went up by revelation, and communicated to them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to those who were of reputation, lest by any means I might run, or had run, in vain.” V.9: “and when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that had been given to me, they gave me and Barnabas the right hand of fellowship, that we should go to the Gentiles and they to the circumcised.”

At the church in Antioch, they fasted and prayed “ the Holy Spirit said, “Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them” (Acts 13:2-3).

On Paul and Barnabas’ missionary journey Acts 13:14: “But when they departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, and went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day and sat down. And after the reading of the Law and the Prophets, the rulers of the synagogue sent to them, saying, “Men and brethren, if you have any word of exhortation for the people, say on.” Then Paul stood up, and motioning with his hand said, “Men of Israel, and you who fear God, listen: He then gives them their own history (similar to what Stephen said in Acts 7, which makes this significant since he was there at stoning when this transpired).

Acts 13:22-40: “And when He had removed him, He raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, ‘I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.’ “From this man’s seed, according to the promise, God raised up for Israel a Savior– Jesus–”after John had first preached, before His coming, the baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel. “And as John was finishing his course, he said, ‘Who do you think I am? I am not He. But behold, there comes One after me, the sandals of whose feet I am not worthy to loose.’ “Men and brethren, sons of the family of Abraham, and those among you who fear God, to you the word of this salvation has been sent. “For those who dwell in Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they did not know Him, nor even the voices of the Prophets which are read every Sabbath, have fulfilled them in condemning Him. “And though they found no cause for death in Him, they asked Pilate that He should be put to death. “Now when they had fulfilled all that was written concerning Him, they took Him down from the tree and laid Him in a tomb. “But God raised Him from the dead. “He was seen for many days by those who came up with Him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are His witnesses to the people. “And we declare to you glad tidings– that promise which was made to the fathers. “God has fulfilled this for us their children, in that He has raised up Jesus. As it is also written in the second Psalm: ‘You are My Son, today I have begotten You.’ “And that He raised Him from the dead, no more to return to corruption, He has spoken thus: ‘I will give you the sure mercies of David.’ “Therefore He also says in another Psalm: ‘You will not allow Your Holy One to see corruption.’ “For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell asleep, was buried with his fathers, and saw corruption; “but He whom God raised up saw no corruption. “Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins;” and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.” Beware therefore, lest what has been spoken in the prophets come upon you”:

Before we conclude this I want to point out the similarity of What Peter said to Israel on Pentecost.

Acts 2:22-3:16 “Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know– “Him, being delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by lawless hands, have crucified, and put to death; “whom God raised up, having loosed the pains of death, because it was not possible that He should be held by it. “For David says concerning Him: ‘I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for He is at my right hand, that I may not be shaken. Therefore my heart rejoiced, and my tongue was glad; moreover my flesh also will rest in hope. For You will not leave my soul in Hades, nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption. You have made known to me the ways of life; you will make me full of joy in Your presence.’ “Men and brethren, let me speak freely to you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day. “Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his body, according to the flesh, He would raise up the Christ to sit on his throne, “he, foreseeing this, spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that His soul was not left in Hades, nor did His flesh see corruption. “This Jesus God has raised up, of which we are all witnesses. “Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear. “For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he says himself: ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.” ‘ “Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.” Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?” Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. “For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.” And with many other words he testified and exhorted them, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation.” Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them. And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.

Both refer to David and both refer to Jesus crucifixion for heir sins will be forgiven.

The reaction to Paul and Barnabas- Acts 13:42-43 “So when the Jews went out of the synagogue, the Gentiles begged that these words might be preached to them the next Sabbath. Now when the congregation had broken up, many of the Jews and devout proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas, who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.”

Notice that Barnabas was with Paul when he spoke this gospel invitation. Barnabas as one of the apos accompanied Paul with his calling to the Gentiles. Acts 13:43-47: “Now when the congregation had broken up, many of the Jews and devout proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas, who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God. On the next Sabbath almost the whole city came together to hear the word of God. But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy; and contradicting and blaspheming, they opposed the things spoken by Paul. Then Paul and Barnabas grew bold and said, “It was necessary that the word of God should be spoken to you first; but since you reject it, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, behold, we turn to the Gentiles. “For so the Lord has commanded us: ‘I have set you as a light to the Gentiles, that you should be for salvation to the ends of the earth.’

Paul concentrated on the cross and the person of Christ in salvation. Maybe the people today are angry at Paul’s epistle to the Galatians when he spoke of the law keepers who came into the church to bring them into bondage. Gal. 2:4-5 “… false brethren secretly brought in (who came in by stealth to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage), to whom we did not yield submission even for an hour, that the truth of the gospel might continue with you. Gal. 3:10-11 “For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.” But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for “the just shall live by faith.” These men were adding the Messiah to their law not understanding the new covenant made by Him. We read in Acts 15:1-6 “And certain men came down from Judea and taught the brethren, “Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved.” Therefore, when Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and dispute with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas and certain others of them should go up to Jerusalem, to the apostles and elders, about this question. So, being sent on their way by the church, they passed through Phoenicia and Samaria, describing the conversion of the Gentiles; and they caused great joy to all the brethren. And when they had come to Jerusalem, they were received by the church and the apostles and the elders; and they reported all things that God had done with them. But some of the sect of the Pharisees who believed rose up, saying, “It is necessary to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.” Now the apostles and elders came together to consider this matter.

Sound familiar, it is basically the same argument we are hearing today in various forms. Paul’s conclusion to the Galatian church- Gal. 2:21: “I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain.” There is no good news without Christ dying and being the “ the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes” (Rom 10:4).

Paul contended for the truth as he rebuked those persuaded by the law keepers- “O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you that you should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was clearly portrayed among you as crucified? This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now being made perfect by the flesh? (Gal 3:1-3) They began with the gospel and received the Holy Spirit by believing in it, not by what the Judaizers were offering through the law. Paul spoke the t same truth by the other apostles.

This infiltration had to be dealt with in the church as it caused a great controversy and was hindering their evangelism. Acts 15:7-38 “And when there had been much dispute, Peter rose up and said to them: “Men and brethren, you know that a good while ago God chose among us, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel and believe. “So God, who knows the heart, acknowledged them by giving them the Holy Spirit, just as He did to us, “and made no distinction between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith. “Now therefore, why do you test God by putting a yoke on the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear “But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved in the same manner as they.”

Peter is referring to Acts 10:38-11:18 when he first preached the gospel to the Gentiles (Cornelius and his house) “how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him. “And we are witnesses of all things which He did both in the land of the Jews and in Jerusalem, whom they killed by hanging on a tree. “Him God raised up on the third day, and showed Him openly, “not to all the people, but to witnesses chosen before by God, even to us who ate and drank with Him after He arose from the dead.“And He commanded us to preach to the people, and to testify that it is He who was ordained by God to be Judge of the living and the dead. “To Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins.” While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who heard the word And those of the circumcision who believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also. For they heard them speak with tongues and magnify God. Then Peter answered, “Can anyone forbid water, that these should not be baptized who have received the Holy Spirit just as we have?” And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord..”

How did the original apostles and Jews receive the Holy Spirit? In Acts 10:43-48, vs. 43 “… through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive forgiveness of sins. In vs. 44, we see the Holy Spirit falling on the Gentiles. In vs. 46, they manifested a gift of the Spirit after they heard the Gospel.

Acts 15:8 “God seeing their hearts acknowledged them by giving them the Holy Spirit just as he did us. And making no distinction between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.” Vs. 11 “We believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus we shall be saved in the SAME MANNER as they.” The consistent teaching in the book of Acts and the rest of scripture is by God’s grace through faith. God gave then the Holy Spirit because He saw their faith that was in their heart. Peter makes the explicit point that they got saved the SAME WAY.

Peter repeats this again in Acts 11:15-18 “And as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell upon them, as upon us at the beginning.“Then I remembered the word of the Lord, how He said, ‘John indeed baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit.’ “If therefore God gave them the same gift as He gave us when we believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I that I could withstand God?”

When they heard these things they became silent; and they glorified God, saying, “Then God has also granted to the Gentiles repentance to life.”

They concluded with this, Acts 15:22 “Then it pleased the apostles and elders, with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas, namely, Judas who was also named Barsabas, and Silas, leading men among the brethren. They wrote this letter by them: The apostles, the elders, and the brethren, To the brethren who are of the Gentiles in Antioch, Syria, and Cilicia: Greetings. Since we have heard that some who went out from us have troubled you with words, unsettling your souls, saying, ‘You must be circumcised and keep the law’– to whom we gave no such commandment– it seemed good to us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men to you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul, men who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We have therefore sent Judas and Silas, who will also report the same things by word of mouth. For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things: that you abstain from things offered to idols, from blood, from things strangled, and from sexual immorality. If you keep yourselves from these, you will do well. Farewell.

For one to deny Paul they must deny the record contained in the Book of Acts (which is accurately called the Acts of the apostles) and all of early church history. Justin Martyr quotes Paul (100-16 ad). Polycarp quotes Paul. Iranaeus who was a disciple of Polycarp quotes Paul over 200 times.

We must remember that it is Luke who put the book of Acts together with all the information available, though it starts with Peter and John he does show the succession to Paul and Barnabas sent out to bring the gospel to the Gentiles (non Jews) throughout the known world.

Acts 23:9-14 “Then there arose a loud outcry. And the scribes of the Pharisees’ party arose and protested, saying, “We find no evil in this man; but if a spirit or an angel has spoken to him, let us not fight against God.” Now when there arose a great dissension, the commander, fearing lest Paul might be pulled to pieces by them, commanded the soldiers to go down and take him by force from among them, and bring him into the barracks. But the following night the Lord stood by him and said, “Be of good cheer, Paul; for as you have testified for Me in Jerusalem, so you must also bear witness at Rome.”And when it was day, some of the Jews banded together and bound themselves under an oath, saying that they would neither eat nor drink till they had killed Paul. Now there were more than forty who had formed this conspiracy. They came to the chief priests and elders, and said, “We have bound ourselves under a great oath that we will eat nothing until we have killed Paul.

Notice the hatred of Paul; we can see the same from those today that refuse to accept his gospel as the same as the other apostles. They remind me of Paul’s conversation with Agrippa. “King Agrippa, do you believe the prophets? I know that you do believe.” Then Agrippa said to Paul, “You almost persuade me to become a Christian.” (Acts 26:27-28). A Christian- most do not want to be called that name but something else, to be unique.

Peter had great respect for Paul; even after he was rebuked by his in front of others for being hypocritical with eating with the Gentiles.

2 Peter 3:15-16: “and account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation– as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you, as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures” Notice that Peter equates Paul’s letters as Scripture.

John bears witness to Paul being an apostle as he writes the words of Jesus- Revelation 2:2: “I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars.” The Ephesus church was watched over by Paul, he was not found to be a liar, but a true apostle.

Acts 20:29, 32, 34 it was Paul who warned the Ephesians before he left “For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock.”… “So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.”

This is not an in depth look into Paul’s participation with the apostles and church but should be sufficient to dismantle any of the arguments. Paul taught “For you are all children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.” Ephesians 2:8-10 tells us that it is by grace through faith that we are saved, not because Paul wrote it but because this is indeed the gospel. This is the means that is used to become a child of God. There is no other way. “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast” (Eph. 2:8-9).

Paul understood the difference and was happy to live in and by the new covenant instead of his old life by the law. Philippians 3:9: “And being found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is of the law but that through faith in Christ the righteousness which is of God by faith.”

“It pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe” (1 Cor. 1:21) What was that message? A few verses before He tells us, v. 18 “For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.” SAVED (past tense). How? Through faith! The cross is sufficient because it is Christ’s work for us- the gospel is grace through faith

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes” (Rom. 1:16).

If you reject what Paul wrote then you are ashamed of the gospel that Jesus Christ the Messiah gave.

Lessons from the Ancient Story of Cain and Abel

In Gen. 4:2 He is called ‘his brother Abel.’ The word ‘brother’ is repeated seven times in the next few verses (Gen. 4:8-11) as the Scripture is trying to make a point of their relationship, they are family. No data is furnished by which we can determine the duration of Adam and Eve’s residence in the Garden of Eden at this time, so it is impossible to form any opinion as to what length of time elapsed before their first son, Cain was born.

Here’s what we do know : “After he begot Seth, the days of Adam were eight hundred years; and he had sons and daughter. (Gen 5:4). Since both Cain and Abel were born before Seth and we know Adam lived 930 years (Gen.5:3), then Cain and Abel were born before Adam was 130 years old from the day he was created.

Then we come upon, V.3 And in the process of time mentioned does allow for a considerable increase in population as well as for Cain and Abel to grow up and bring sacrifices on there own. There was already a fixed time of the offerings, the Scripture indicates that this was not the first time they did this (it could have weekly monthly or yearly, we do not know). We cannot be specific on the place of the sacrificial offerings, but we do know that later on the tabernacle faced east.

We read that “Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.” That was there professions. We can assume Cain traded with his brother his food for animals but this time he did not ( at this time in mankinds history we were not eating the animals.

Gen. 4:4-6 We may suppose that each brother offered what came to hand out of the produce of his own industry. It would at first seem justified that the faith of the offerer is essential to the acceptableness of the offering, considering all things were equal. But they were not, because God had instructed what was needed. Abel was shepherd, it was the animals that would be used in the offering as types of the redeemer. The sheep were used for clothing and sacrifices. It did not matter to God what vocation you were in, but that you obeyed Him. The Lord commanded through his first sacrifice for it to continue (Gen.4:3).

The Hebrew word minchaah is seen in Lev 2:1, as an offering of fine flour, with oil and frankincense. A gratitude offering. Cain’s was a ‘bloodless offering’, mankind was strictly vegetarian at the time, Cain’s was a vegetable offering, the other an animal; one is a presentation of things without life, the other a sacrifice of life. To further the concept of blood being required, even the grain offerings later in the Mosaic covenant came in contact with blood.

The fruit of the soil offered to God was an insult because it was specifically cursed. This expresses the barren faith of Cain, compared to the living faith of Abel. By doing this Cain denied that he was a sinner, rejecting redemption by blood, and thought that he could come his own way to God. Cain was indicative of the natural fallen man. He believed in God and believed in a religion — on his own terms. Abel’s offering consisted of the firstlings of his flock. Abel was accepted not by the work of his own hands but by bringing a right sacrifice that would cover sin. The nature of Abel’s sacrifice illustrated the genuineness of his faith showing his heart was right. he obeyed the command that was passed on from Adam, to sacrifice. Cain could have easily traded his work of the ground for an animal from Abel, but chose not to.

Cain was dissatisfied that his own offering was not accepted, and that his brother’s was. Heb 11:4 ‘By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; and through it he being dead still speaks.” Motives can speak in our actions. You can’t bring a sacrifice not required and give it in faith because you are not being obedient to the word.

When people cannot obey the scripture when it is necessary and they act in their own reasoning they act in the nature of Cain. So many believe their good intentions are only what God will accept, but Cain’s good intentions led to the murder of his brother because God did not accept his intention. Cain eventually murdered his brother because he gave a better sacrifice than himself.

The way of Cain is the way of a man who refused to bring what God asked, a sacrifice that pointed to Christ (Heb 12:24). In other words, Cain did not come to God by faith.

Gen. 4:5 “but He did not respect Cain and his offering. And Cain was very angry, and his countenance fell.”

In other words it was seen in his face, his demeanor.

V.6 When Cain became filled with anger, (Gen. 4:5-7). V.6 ‘the LORD said to Cain, ‘Why are you angry? And why has your countenance fallen? ‘If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.”

Anger is one those emotions that can drive someone to worst of human behavior, it did with Cain. Cain had resentment because he was disgraced before God and only he and God knew.

God told him not to be angry which was going to be directed toward his brother, because his offering has been accepted, and his not. Cain had no self-examination, or repentance though God told him to do what is right. This showed that Cain did not listen to his word, nor care. The sin factor began to work in the very first generation of Adam and Eve. God warns him of his sin not being dealt with will eventually overtake him. Because Cain’s sacrifice was not accepted his sin was not covered and he had guilt. He knew of no way to deal with it, it turns to anger and it comes out by him killing his brother. This what Jesus meant

Cain did not act on God’s divine counsel to him, he did not change his mind toward what God said, he showed no internal repentance.

Mt.5:22 “angry with a brother without cause, the true intent of the law was related to man made in the image of God”

Cain killing Abel was because he wanted to be accepted as righteous by his own merit, the work of his hands and not the blood sacrifice they were told to obey. God would not accept Cain’s offering. Not because of his heart, or intentions being wrong but because it was not the required blood sacrifice. Cain presumed God would accept what he gave as the best from his own hands (his work). It is this attitude in the church that God will accept anything we do as long it is done in his name with a right heart or right intentions.

Gen 4:7 “If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And its desire is for you, but you should rule over it.” Doing well (good) is to obey God, in relation to the offering. Instead of a fallen countenance he will have a lifting of his countenance; he will be glad and sin will not affect his soul.

The words chaTaa’t (OT:2403) and chaTaah (OT:2403) frequently signify “sin”; but I have observed more than a hundred places in the Old Testament where they are used for sin-offering, and translated hamartia (NT:263) by the Septuagint, (from Adam Clarke’s Commentary), sin lies that the door of our heart each and everyday, but because we are given the Holy Spirit we can rule over it.

The Septuagint renders this `If thou hast rightly brought, but hast not rightly divided thy offering, hast thou not sinned? Be still.’

The Targum of Onkelos, who paraphrases it in the following manner: `If thou make thy worship, shalt thou not be forgiven? and if thou dost not make thy worship good, to the day of judgment thy sin is reserved, prepared to take vengeance on thee unless thou repent; and if thou repent, it shall be forgiven thee.’ (reference from Jamieson, Fausset, and Brown Commentary)

V.8-9 they talked like they always do. He conversed with Abel his brother. The topic of discussion is not stated. The Septuagint gives the words, ‘Let us go into the field.’ Obviously to do what his evil heart conspired.

They go to the field, (the Sepuagint, Sam., Jonathan says ‘let us go into the field.’ The Chaldee manuscript adds that Cain, when they were in discourse in the field, maintained that there was no judgment to come, no future state, no rewards and punishments in the other world, and that when Abel spoke in defense of the truth Cain took that occasion to fall upon him.) This was probably pre-meditated murder as he was already seething in anger. Abel becomes the first human to die as little big brother kills little brother. Instead of killing an animal for a sacrifice as God commanded, he killed his brother for doing so. He believed in religion and God his own way, not God’s way. He persecuted his brother for doing what is right in god’s eyes. Those who claim to be of God and disobey his word persecute those who obey His word.

Thus Cain violated the image of God by shedding blood in man instead of the animal. Abel died as a saint. Because of his right standing with God Abel died as the first of many martyrs in the cause of righteousness.

Christ acknowledges Abel as righteous and a martyr and all those who have died (Matt 23:35); the Pharisees will be held accountable for the blood of them all because they kept the people in unbelief and had not taught the right way to God.

The sin of Adam is now beginning to see affect. Cain let sin reign over him, he was already gripped by it. What was in his heart came out (Matt 5:21-22), sin vs. holiness. The first attack on the lineage of the Messiah, killing his brother, he opposed God himself; as God accepted Abel as being righteous before him because of his obedience, the murder of Abel was atrocious and he received a greater punishment because there were so few people in the world.

V.9. Cain is questioned by God who already knows, ‘where is your brother?’ Cain covers his deliberate murder with a deliberate lie: I know not. He thought God did not see his crime. Sin hardens the heart and seals the conscience, even have one lie before God their maker. The New Testament tells us we are known by God who sees all. ‘And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account’ (Heb. 4:13).

‘Am I my brother’s keeper?’ Cain’s response is put in a question and shows defiance. He can take care of himself; I have no obligation. It has the underlying attitude of accusing God, as if to say ‘you are to take care of him, I don’t need to.’ As the body of Christ we are a family, not just our physical family but spiritual.

We are allowed to have righteous anger against sin (Mark 3:5; Eph. 4:26), but Cain’s anger was because of sin, it was not righteous. Jesus warned that if we have anger in our heart it as if we murder. Because anger left uncontrolled leads to murder (Matt. 5:21–26), as it did with Cain. The Holy Spirit is the one who helps us control anger and replace it with mercy to those who offend us (Matt. 5:43–48) but this can only be taken care of when there are willing parties that want to take care of family problems. There must be honesty and humilty.

Cain refused the correction and took it out on his brother. He ended up apart from his family that followed the Lord.

John relates to us in 1 John 3:8-13 ‘He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God. In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother. For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another, not as Cain who was of the wicked one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his works were evil and his brother’s righteous.”

John uses this story in his epistle to point out that the person who habitually hates his fellow man would act just as Cain did, he is not exercising faith. John repeats this principle found in Jms.2:14-18. I Jn.3:17 ‘But whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his heart from him, how does the love of God abide in him?

V10. God does not answer Cain but immediately but states ‘what have you done?’ This is not a question but an accusation. The earth has drank or soaked up the blood, it is now further defiled.

Some hold that Cain buried the body, to conceal his crime. The word is in the plural, thy brother’s bloods, not only his blood, why the plural, since there was only one person? We see the same used in Isaiah 53:9, ‘He made His grave with the wicked, and with the rich in His death.’ In the Hebrew the word for death in this verse is in the plural form, deaths. ‘Deaths’ is a plural of intensity used by the writer to indicate that the death mentioned was a particularly violent one. In Hebrew, plural nouns can be used to express majesty, rank, excellence, magnitude and intensity.

Genesis 4:11-12 “So now you are cursed from the earth, which has opened its mouth to receive your brother’s blood from your hand. When you till the ground, it shall no longer yield its strength to you. A fugitive and a vagabond you shall be on the earth.”

From Cain’s time we have all wandered on the earth as sheep gone astray.‘ The earth received Cains blood’ (The swallowing of blood Numb.16:30-35; Deut.11:6; Ps.106:17; Isa.5:14). The earth is now stained with blood, not the blood of sacrifice for sin, but blood from sin, the sin of murder; the first sin of one human being to another.

Numb.16:30-35; Deut.11:6; Ps.106:17; Isa.5:14 To cry out is often used in the sense of ‘crying out’ for help or assistance. In this matter the blood crying out from the ground means ‘blood shed by violence. ‘Violence continued on the upswing after Cain until the flood settled the matter.

There were no civil authorities or government to sentence Cain, Adam was not allowed to do this punishment. God as judge punishes him. A curse is put on Cain added to the general one pronounced on the ground for Adam’s sin. Whatever the ground was to Adam, it was now doubly cursed to Cain; and because Cain was a tiller of the Ground the ground is cursed further for him than it was for Adam. The principle we see continually in judgment is that the person judged has whatever under him judged as well.

Afterwards God gave the command of just punishment to man. ‘Whosoever sheds man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed’ (Gen. 9:6). From then on a murderer shall receive capital punishment.

One of the ten commandments says, ‘You shall not murder’ (Exod. 20:13), which is not the same meaning as to kill. Murder is an act by which a human life is taken, or blood is shed that is not in self defense: ‘If there arise a matter too hard for thee in judgment, between blood and blood [one kind of homicide or another]’ (Deut. 17:8). To ‘shed blood’ is to commit murder: ‘So ye shall not pollute the land wherein ye are: for blood it defileth the land: and the land cannot be cleansed of the blood that is shed therein…’ (Num 35:33).

But for those who die in faith as Abel did ‘precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints’ (Ps.116:15).

Cain’s punishment is directed to where he chose his sacrifice, where he made his living from, where his heart was and the work of his hands. He will no longer be able to be a good farmer, he will struggle more than Adam did, more than any other man as he is away from the first people of God.

To become as a Child

Matthew 18:1-5 At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. Whoever receives one little child like this in My name receives Me.”

The disciples were constantly concerned about be recognized, known for what they did. God resists pride and looks for humility. This is an essential ingredient (as another is stated in Jn.3:5) to become a citizen, adopted in God’s family. Jesus used Children whom are dependent on their parents to show how we are to depend on our Father, God. This is very opposite of self reliance and self esteem. We leave our own ambitions behind and follow Jesus on the narrow road to fulfill his will for our lives (Mt.7:14). There is a wonder and innocence of a child learning from his Father. We call upon his name, we pray this is how we are children dependent on God.

Luke 9:46-48 Then a dispute arose among them as to which of them would be greatest. And Jesus, perceiving the thought of their heart, took a little child and set him by Him, and said to them, “Whoever receives this little child in My name receives Me; and whoever receives Me receives Him who sent Me. For he who is least among you all will be great.”

Again Jesus uses a child as an example showing that we are to act to each other as equals not as less than us but make ourselves servants, we become great in the kingdom; the very opposite way the world views how things operate.

“Assuredly, I say to you, among those born of women there has not risen one greater than John the Baptist; but he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he” Matthew 11:11) consider that John was the greatest of prophets and yet those who become as children and humble themselves will be greater than John. Being a servant is directly linked to being a child, willing to do what the master says “But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant. And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted” (Matthew 23:11-13).

Mark 10:13-15 “Then they brought young children to Him, that He might touch them; but the disciples rebuked those who brought them. But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. “Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.”

Jesus made the point by this illustration that no one should be excluded, even the young. Furthermore we must receive the kingdom from him as children, this is not an option. Again explaining how we come to him to be part of the kingdom of God by abandoning our self. A child is teachable, willing to learn and receive care, free from prejudices.

To become as little children means that one is not self reliant, but God reliant. As a child is trusting his parents to love, care and provide for him his daily needs. We are to cast our care s upon him as He has promised to respond to us.

What it does not mean is to be immature, childish in behavior, or become a child in intelligence and judgment, not knowing what is the difference between good or evil. But to be able to exercise right judgment in matters pertaining to our faith. and we exercise this judgment everyday.

Jesus taught of bearing fruit was part of maturity by “those who hear the word, accept it, and bear fruit: some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some a hundred” (Mark 4:20). However the world and an enemy are against us and wants the word to fall on barren soil to “bring no fruit to maturity” (Luke 8:14).

Paul sums up his speaking on love as being mature:

1 Cor. 13:11-13 “When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known. And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.”

In the conclusion of speaking in tongues Paul states, ‘Brethren, do not be children in understanding; however, in malice be babes, but in understanding be mature” (1 Cor. 14:20)

No man knows all things correctly on earth. Paul understood his childishness by his keeping the law, now he grew in grace. He explains in Gal 3:24-25 “Therefore the law was our tutor (school master) to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor.”

He knew his place in continually learning and understanding his relationship under the new covenant that is enacted by grace not by law.

So Paul was able to write about his own sanctification:

Phil 3:12-17 “Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Therefore let us, as many as are mature, have this mind; and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal even this to you. Nevertheless, to the degree that we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us be of the same mind. Brethren, join in following my example, and note those who so walk, as you have us for a pattern.”

Christ is our ultimate example; the apostles become the pattern for all Christians to imitate as the primitive church unfolded, and we can read of them today as our examples of becoming mature.

The Most Important Question

With all of the world falling down around us, the global financial markets may appear to be stable but they are being held together by threads and tape, ready to collapse at any moment. The government of the United States has taken the path of total control with the hope of entering into a police state very soon. Fascism rearing its head around the world in the marriage of corporations and governments we are again seeing the dawning of the type of government the world is striving to bring about, that being corporatism, where business interests demand and control the legislation and rules of the game, pushing the individuals into nothing more but resources to be used for profit.

We have become human resources, property of the elites to use for their profit and enjoyment. We are the new slave class that can be thrown aside at their leisure.

Persecution is growing against Christians and anything that reflects the virtues of our Savior, the world holds a special animus for the Son of GOD and the sacrifice He made on the cross for all of humanity. Across Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas hatred against those who profess the name of Christ will continue to grow in intensity.

Already in certain areas of the world Christians are dying daily for their faith, in other parts the persecution is growing at an alarming rate.

We are told in John 15:18 ” If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.”  We are also told in 1 John 3:13 “Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.” From here we should know from the example and words of our Savior that the world is going to hate us for our love for Him.

I would ask you reader, do you know Jesus as your savior? Do you understand that He came into the world not to condemn the world but that through Him the world could be saved from sin and the resulting wickedness of sin? John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

With all the things going on and those things which are coming, this is the most important question, do you know Jesus as your personal Savior?

If not then in the end of these things you are going to be spending an eternity in hell, if you do not believe then you are condemned already. As it is written, John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

A common response to this absolute condition is that why would GOD throw people in hell for not believing, that you cannot believe a loving GOD would punish anyone for not simply believing, well the answer is also found in scripture as follows, it to is an absolute condition. John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

So you see reader, it is because the light has come into the world, the righteousness of the Father revealed in the life of HIS Son, that being to believe in the name of HIS Son and to Love one another as He gave us command. Mankind loved their wickedness and evil doings, they rejected anything that would bring to light their ungodly deeds. Light brings to bear all the things in our life, it shows us how we really look, it shows us that we are all evil and wicked. This result of light in the darkness simply is this, Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;. Once we see this we see it all. Everyone has sinned and everyone is condemned unless we accept the love of Jesus as shown in His love for us and His willingness to die for us on the cross.

The simplicity of the Gospel is in this reader, Romans 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. It is with our heart that we have to believe the above statements in John, the reason for Jesus coming to the earth, it was to save mankind from sin as stated in Romans 6:23For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. The result of sin is death, that is eternal death, separation from the Father and the Son, alone in the darkness and fires of hell.
The simple way to fix this reader is as follows, Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
It is that easy.
Once you begin this journey your life will change, you will be forgiven, you will become part of a family of believers who are going to rest in the fact that you are only a traveler on a journey in this old world and that there will be something else waiting for you.
Your new life in Christ will be a life filled with joy and with pain, much like todays walk but with the solace that you are part of a better ending. As the beginning of this little discourse stated, the world will hate you because of your new found faith in a loving GOD, they cannot understand because you are given a gift that they do not have, Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Yes you will have that peace that passes all understanding, a peace the world cannot know because it lies in darkness and sin, you will be that light in the darkness that they will want to extinguish because your reflection of Christ in your life will draw them so they will see their own lives for what it is.
You are now a child of the Living GOD, an heir to the riches which we will receive from the Father. This the world will hate because their spirit knows they cannot touch your riches and prize in the heavens, the wicked of the earth knows where it is going, although mankind may be blinded by Satan they still knows in their spirit where they are going in the end, yet they loved their darkness or sin more than the light.
The thief, Satan, comes for one purpose, that being this;
John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
So you see reader, the Lord came that you and I may have a life, a life that is more abundant in Christ, this does not necessarily mean wealth and health, what it means is a life of abundant Grace. The Grace of GOD shown in and reflected in our life through Christ our Savior.
Your abundance will be in knowing what real love is and what real life is, something that this old world cannot fathom, to the world love is reflected in sex, in Christ it is reflected in mercy. His mercy shown toward us in that while we were yet in sin He loved us enough to die for us. This is what our GOD wants of us reader, from those who believe in the Son, 1 John 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
The Love of Christ is reflected in our lives and in our love for our neighbor in these scriptures;
1st Corinthians 1 ¶ Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
4 ¶ Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
8 ¶ Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

So what do we have here, love defined as Charity or Love in Action.
These are the things which our Lord means when it is written to love our neighbors as ourselves. This is the abundance of Grace and the abundant life we are promised reader. When we learn this and we learn to live it then we will be higher up on that mountain so to speak and we will be able to look down into that dark valley from which we were saved.
We will be able to distinguish the sins and wickedness around us and see it for with it is.
Knowing what love is reader is the foremost step in our walk with our savior.
It too is part of that most important question, do you know Jesus as your personal savior?

If you do not know Jesus as your Christ and Savior if you want to pray a simple prayer, you can use this as a guide, it does not take a long drawn out chant or a thousand words, all it takes is a repentant heart, knowing that we have sinned and done wrong, letting the Spirit of GOD work in our hearts, all of these things are seen in the term repentance which means this:
noun: repentance; plural noun: repentances
the action of repenting; sincere regret or remorse.

The remorse you feel from knowing your sin, that is the Spirit working in your life, heart, and mind.
Use this as a guide if you like;
” Lord I know that I am a sinner, I understand that I need you in my life and I now come to you and ask that you forgive me of my sins, please come into my heart and help me believe in you, to know you and to love you.
Please forgive me and be my savior. “

Now if you prayed this prayer or something similar I would like to welcome you into the family, whether brother or sister, young or old, whatever race or ethnicity or political affiliation, welcome to our family.

This is now who you are if you accepted Christ 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Again, welcome to our family.

New hanky panky for transgender bathrooms

Opponents of California’s radical “coed bathroom bill,” through which the legislature agreed to allow public school students decide whether they would represent themselves as boys or girls in class, are vowing to continue their fight even though state officials claimed they did not turn in enough signatures to have voters decide the issue.

“Make no mistake, Pacific Justice Institute is committed to protecting the privacy of children,” said Brad Dacus, of the legal team that has been working on the case.

“We are ready to review and challenge every signature that was not counted toward the referendum of this impudent and in-your-face bill. Our children’s privacy is worth doing all that we can.”

State officials, after facing earlier defeats in court over disputed signature counts, announced this week that the measure needed 504,760 signatures for voters to decide the issue. There were more than 619,000 signatures turned in, but Secretary of State Debra Bowen’s office said only 487,484 were valid.

Backers of the plan to let voters decide said they will go to elections offices across the state to review – and potentially challenge – decisions by state and county officials to refuse signatures.

Dacus said, “Now it’s our turn to go in and make sure they have properly treated signatures…”

He affirmed that court action certainly is within the organization’s plans.

His organization pointed out that courts historically have been much friendlier to the idea of voters deciding issues than have state officials.

PJI, as a member of the Privacy for All Students group, “has a right to review and appeal each one of the roughly 131,000 signatures which were rejected,” the organization reported.

In addition, it said it will go to court should any child’s privacy rights be violated under the state gender accommodations.

The “coed bathroom bill,” California AB 1266, was signed into law in 2013 and allows for children in K-12 grades to use bathrooms, locker rooms, and other facilities – in addition to playing on sports teams – of their choosing – not necessarily those linked to their biological gender.

WND reported only last month that critics of the law won a fight over the signatures submitted based on the results of random samples from 58 counties.

Author Michael L. Brown chronicles in “A Queer Thing Happened to America: And What a Long, Strange Trip It’s Been” how America has been transformed from a nation where homosexuality was unmentioned to the point it’s a constant topic of conversation from foxholes to the White House.

At the time, privacy advocates noted the sampling process utilized by the state has a high error rate and results in an excessive number of signatures projected as invalid.

“Unfortunately, the state changed the sampling process a few years ago to save money, resulting in many more signatures being improperly invalidated,” said Karen England, a member of the PFAS executive committee. “With a full check, every signature is verified by elections officials and we expect that process will result in thousands of more signatures being found to be valid. When all the signatures are examined, we believe that we will have enough valid signatures to qualify for the ballot.”

That victory followed on the heels of another win for the privacy organization, this one in court.

It was Judge Allen Sumner of Sacramento who quashed a maneuver by the California government to suppress signatures in the referendum effort.

Sumner, of the Sacramento County Superior Court, said thousands of signatures that were delivered to the Tulare County clerk’s office before the deadline should be counted, even though the office took no action on them until after the deadline.

The state had simply wanted to ignore the valid signatures based on the fact they were delivered before the deadline, but officials did not take action on them before the deadline.

While the state constitution allows voters a full 90 days to hand in their signatures from when the legislation is passed, the election officials claimed the signatures in those two counties were late.

The signatures, in fact, were delivered on the 88th and 89th days.

The law is the latest in a long list of sex indoctrination laws adopted in California, including one that requires a day of recognition for Harvey Milk, the homosexual politician who also was an advocate of infamous cult leader Jim Jones.

England said parents in other states also should be concerned.

“We’re not like Las Vegas. What happens in California spreads to other states,” she said.

England told WND the law is a direct assault on parental rights. It allows schools to treat children as members of either gender and send them to locker rooms or restrooms that may be in conflict with their physical gender. The law also keeps all such information away from parents.

“This is as far as they’ve (lawmakers) ever gone. This is the most extreme. Parents and teachers are absolutely outraged,” she said.

She discussed the issue earlier with Gov. Mike Huckabee:

“We respect that some students are struggling with their own sexual identity, but we ask for respect for the other students who will be humiliated when a boy walks into the girl’s locker room,” said England. “This is a privacy issue, a safety issue, and a common sense issue.”

She said it seems “unbelievable that this bill would ever have made its way through the legislature and signed into law by the governor.”

The law, the first of its kind in the nation, drew the wrath of state Assemblyman Tim Donnelly.

Donnelly, in a WND column, wrote:

Allowing teenage boys and girls in the same locker room, showering side by side, is a bad idea. In fact, AB 1266 is a recipe for disaster. This will take the normal hormonal battles raging inside every teenager and pour gasoline onto those simmering coals. The right to privacy enjoyed by every student will be replaced by the right to be ogled.

While trying to address a concern of less than 2 percent of the population, California is now forcibly violating the rights of the other 98 percent. Many of the parents I have heard from within the last few days have literally pulled their kids out of public schools and have enrolled them in homeschool and private school programs. My boys, who went back to the public school after many years away, will not be returning.

It is completely unreasonable to expect teenagers, who are uncomfortable with themselves at this age, to accept this level of privacy invasion. After all, in the Capitol building, not only do they not allow men in the women’s bathroom, the women must enter a code to access their restrooms.

The controversy earlier reached the ludicrous, when a woman who has “transitioned” to be a “man” became outraged when a pro-family advocate, Randy Thomasson of, addressed her as lady in a CNN interview.

See Thomasson’s closing words in the CNN interview:

Thomasson recommends as a source of information for parents who want to pull out of the public schools.

In a recent analysis, WND Managing Editor David Kupelian wrote of the atrocities that develop because of gender confusion, especially for children.

“Indeed, the recent renaming of gender identity disorder as gender dysphoria, thanks to pressure from the powerful LGBT lobby, means the condition itself is no longer considered abnormal or ‘disordered,’ but only the anxiety one may feel over it,” he wrote.

“This is a halfway measure; the unabashed, publicly stated goal of the LGBT world is to get gender identity disorder completely de-pathologized so it is officially and legally declared to be an absolutely normal variant of human sexuality. It is, after all, the ‘T’ in the LGBT coalition.”

“Being transgender no longer a ‘mental disorder’: APA,” announced NBC News last December, along with other major news outlets, Kupelian documented.

But he continued, “Reality check: Transgenderism (or transsexualism) is not normal. In fact, it’s so abnormal and unnatural that a staggeringly tragic 41 percent of all transgender individuals living in the United States have attempted to commit suicide, according to a 2010 study.”

He highlighted the dangers: “Consider the incredibly sad story, reported last week in the London Telegraph, of ‘female-to-male’ transsexual Nancy Verhelst of Belgium, who was legally euthanized by lethal injection after a botched sex-change operation. The back story? Her parents hated and rejected her because she was a girl and they wanted another boy. So this poor girl tried to become a boy, and when it didn’t work, she took her life.”

Further, making such conditions “normal” then results in the amputation of health body parts, he said.

California lawmakers have built a long reputation for promoting “gay” rights and resisting attempts to uphold traditional values in public schools and elsewhere. Majority Democrats on a California state legislative committee at one point killed a plan that would have cracked down on intimate relationships between school teachers and their students.

The unsuccessful Assembly Bill 1861 would have made it a felony if any teacher or employee of a public or private school “engages in a sexual relationship or inappropriate communications with a pupil.”

See the “big list” of female teachers who have preyed on students.

Another bill, SB48, requires positive portrayals of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender persons in public school social studies and history classes.

Others state laws:
SB 543, signed by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2010, “allows school staff to remove children ages 12 and up from government schools and taken off-campus for counseling sessions, without parental permission or involvement. The purpose is to permit pro-homosexuality teachers and administrators to remove sexually confused children in 6th grade and up from campus and take them to pro-homosexuality counselors who will encourage them to embrace the homosexual lifestyle.”
ACR 82, approved by the California Legislature in 2010, “creates de facto ‘morality-free zones’ at participating schools (pre-kindergarten through public universities). Schools that become official ‘Discrimination-Free Zones’ will ‘enact procedures’ (including mandatory counseling) against students from pre-kindergarten on up who are accused of ‘hate,’ ‘intolerance,’ or ‘discrimination’.” What is the hate? Peacefully speaking or writing against the unnatural lifestyles choices of homosexuality and bisexuality.
SB 572, signed by Schwarzenegger in 2009, establishes “Harvey Milk Day” in K-12 California public schools and community colleges. In classrooms, schools and school districts that participate, children will now be taught to admire the life and values of late homosexual activist and teen predator Harvey Milk of San Francisco the month of May.
SB 777, signed by Schwarzenegger in 2007, prohibits all public school instruction and every school activity from “promoting a discriminatory bias” against (effectively requiring positive depictions of) transsexuality, bisexuality and homosexuality to schoolchildren as young as five years old. SB 777 means children will be taught their “gender” is a matter of choice.
AB 394, signed by Schwarzenegger in 2007, effectively promotes transsexual, bisexual and homosexual indoctrination of students, parents and teachers via “anti-harassment” and “anti-discrimination” materials, to be publicized in classrooms and assemblies, posted on walls, incorporated into curricula on school websites, and distributed in handouts to take home.
SB 71, signed by Gov. Gray Davis in 2003 and implemented in 2008 through the new “sexual health” standards approved by appointees of Schwarzenegger and State Superintendent of Public Instruction Jack O’Connell, teaches children as young as 5th grade that any consensual sexual behavior is “safe” as long as you “protect” yourself with a condom, and teaches children that homosexuality, bisexuality and transsexuality is “normal.”
AB 1785, signed by Davis in 2000, required the California State Board of Education to alter the state curriculum frameworks to include and require “human relations education” for children in K-12 public schools, with the aim of “fostering an appreciation of the diversity of California’s population and discouraging the development of discriminatory attitudes and practices,” according to the state legislative counsel’s digest.
AB 537, signed by Davis in 1999, permits teachers and students to openly proclaim and display their homosexuality, bisexuality or transsexuality, even permitting cross-dressing teachers, school employees and student on campus, in classrooms, and in restrooms.

The state legislature even demanded that students in public schools every year honor Harvey Milk, a homosexual activist, reported sexual predator and advocate for Jim Jones, leader of the massacred hundreds in Jonestown, Guyana. contends that in honoring Milk, schools are advocating for the acceptance of what Milk sought: the entire homosexual, bisexual and cross-dressing agenda; a refusal to acknowledge sexually transmitted diseases spread by the behavior; his behavior as “a sexual predator of teenage boys, most of them runaways with drug problems”; advocacy for multiple sexual relationships at one time; and “lying to get ahead.”

A 1982 biography of Milk tells of a 16-year-old named McKinley who “was looking for some kind of father figure.”

“At 33, Milk was launching a new life, though he could hardly have imagined the unlikely direction toward which his new lover would pull him,” the book says.

“It would be to boyish-looking men in their late teens and early 20s that Milk would be attracted for the rest of his life.”

As The Clouds Darken

The clouds in the skies of America are darkening; there is an underlying anger that is getting ready to burst forth.
With the high unemployment, the collapse of our housing sector, racial violence increasing, islamists within and without our borders. Our moral decline as a nation, the failure of our educational system, our pastors embracing sin as the new normal, our nation now stands firmly with both feet planted in midair.

The storm is here, our nation no longer exists as a Christian nation nor are we any longer the land of the free.
Loving you neighbor has given way to apathy.
Our enemies are going to be those of our own household.
Famine and want are knocking at our doors.
Violence is approaching from several directions.

So what do we do?

We wait.

First Peter Chapter 2 vs 1 through 3

1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,
2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:
3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

Pretty simple I would think…

Guidance that new and older Christians should read and learn.

First Timothy 1:5 through 11

5 ¶ Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:
6 From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;
7 Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm.
8 But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully;
9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;
11 According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.

There are people out in the Christian community who desire to be teachers; some call themselves by names and titles taken from Scripture. They distort the Scriptures to support what they claim and stand aside to watch it fulfilled, whether or not it means or is applicable to the situation at hand matters little to these people, they remained fixated in their own world of corrupt thought and interpretation of the Holy Word.

The Word and Law of the Creator is good when used lawfully, yet it was not made, as the above scripture indicates, for the righteous but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and sinners, the list above goes on and describes various forms of wickedness it can be applied to yet those who pervert the Word of GOD use it to support their own belief system.

One example of this would seem to be focused on the so-called Endtime Scenario. The scripture does indeed mention the end of days and there are hundreds of scripture which point to that day, yet in our day it has become an obsession for millions it would seem.

When the primary purpose of the description of the end time events as described in the Bible is not only to identify the Holiness of the Creator but also to warn the waywardness of mankind that there needs to be a change done in their heart. That the need of repentance is real and genuine in every generation, not only in the current and endtime generations but throughout history the Love of GOD has never failed, it calls mankind to repent and to turn from wickedness.

Yah has said through HIS Spirit in the following Scripture;

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Ezekiel 33:11 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

So you see, both in the New and the Old Testaments we see that the Creator does not find any pleasure in the death of the wicked but that they should repent and turn from their wickedness and evil.

Our lives are not judged by our works, it is judged whether or not we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior.

Those who desire to be teachers yet understand not that which they teach are like clouds without water, constantly blown about by every wind of doctrine that may come their way, they are quick to pick up a news story or hear of something happening to another and they bang their drums and blow their trumpets and declare their version of the story claiming everyone else is wrong.

They are more interested in making a profit by selling their own books and lectures, their own self help guides sermonette, yet ignoring the desperate need of a lost world, that is to bring the Gospel to the lost in this world because our GOD does not want the wicked to die in their sins, HE wants and desires them to know HIS Son who came to die for mankind. Our loving Father in the Heavens is not concerned with a writers books or lectures, HE cares little for their touring dates or public displays of faith and super-mega churches which only give a sense of fellowship. Our GOD looks at the heart of man, HE and HE alone knows the end from the beginning. Our GOD does not desire sacrifice but instead HE desires mercy to be shown to the poor and to others.

Hosea 6:6 For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.
Matthew 9:13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Matthew 12:7 But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.

Those who desire to be teachers forget that first they are to show mercy, to learn mercy, sacrifice is the least of these two attributes which our Creator and HIS Son desire to be shown to our fellow man.

Are we to be concerned with the end of days?

Yes within its perspective, that being the return of our Savior. We are told to watch for the signs of His coming, to be alert and to warn others that there is a limited amount of time, that salvation is for today not tomorrow. Only Yah the Creator knows the end from the beginning, only HE knows when your number is going to be called. We need to press this issue to the lost and sinners in the wold world, the field is ripe and the seeds need to continually be planted and watered, and rewatered, we are never to give up hope that a person can come to the saving knowledge of Christ but we are told to move on when there is an open and public rejection of the Gospel, to pray that those rejecting him will come to the saving knowledge of our Christ.
